Cookie Clicker is an idle cooking game! Initially distributed on the web in 2013 and continuously developed since then. This is the official Steam version, released on September 1, 2021.
How to play Cookie Clicker
The objectives of the cookie clicker game are quite basic. More cookies…create additional cookies! You begin with a glass of water and no milk or cookies. Each click is rewarded with a cookie, a procedure I wish were real. You will eventually acquire your first enhanced idle clicker through clicking. The greater your cookie stockpile, the more store enhancements you can purchase. Before you realize it, you will have ascended that solum 1 cookie per click to farms, baking you hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of cookies within a reasonable amount of time. You may also use your cookies to purchase power-ups. Such as your cookie farm becoming twice as effective or your click-through rate increasing.
As your cookie balance continues to grow, you can purchase more and more improvements that increase your idle cookies per second. Once you eventually reach the next available balancing milestone, the next upgradeable will be unlocked. Some of the earliest upgrades are Grandma, the Farm, the Mine, and the Factory. You will have to discover the remaining information for yourself.
You will also be assigned a goal in the Legacy area, the first of which is to bake a trillion cookies. Once you’ve reached this benchmark, you can then earn prestige. This will reset you at the beginning of your trip, but with powerful and permanent help boosts. Always keep an eye out for the golden biscuits while playing. Once used, these deliver a potent momentary boost, such as a frenzy mode that doubles your cookie production, or a huge injection of additional cookies to replenish your stockpile.
Also present are Sugar lumps. This is displayed beside your cookie balance and takes a considerable amount of time to build/mature. After acquiring a sugar lump, you can use it to level up your improvements. Level 0 grants +0% CPS, and subsequent levels grant an increase in CPS.
